Jay Shelling, the Director, has 15 years of experience in the building industry, with 4 years in landscaping. He established a Landscaping business Flo Landscapes with support from Salt Pools (a registered building practitioner for a successful pool and landscaping business). Flo Landscapes has completed numerous quality medium – large residential landscaping projects across the South-Eastern Melbourne/Mornington Peninsula. The business has now expanded into a commercial arm – SP Worx which is a certified social enterprise. Jay has strengths in leadership, onsite training, mentoring, and supervision of staff, he has an eye for detail and oversees quality management of each project, he also has skills in project coordination and site management.
Junior Tusitala Poe
Junior Tusitala Poe, Team Leader, has 24 years in the building industry with extensive experience in the commercial fabrication business. He has had responsibility in overseeing and mentoring teams, establishing healthy Team culture and managing scheduling and logistics. He has well established leadership and team building skills that are important for establishing a healthy work culture. Junior is a Site Supervisor who is building a strong, healthy and accountable work culture to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Matt Pilcher, Project Manager, has 6 years of experience working for Local Government with a Diploma in Project Management and a Bachelor of Environmental Science(Honours). He has Project Managed Landscape, Open-space, and recreation projects including Playspaces, Shared Paths, and Skatepark projects up to $2M in value. He also has a heart for working with young people and has 6 months of experience in the landscaping industry. Matt assists with project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and quoting.
